With February finishing and March coming up, we're approaching the middle of our Spring semester at US and Art! So what's new at the studio, you ask?
First of all, SUMMER/FALL 2023 CLASS REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1ST! Get ready to book your own spot or a class for a friend or loved one!
Below are other exciting classes and events to look forward to and schedule information to know!
Classes/Events
March Mad Scientist mini art course starts Tuesday, March 7! This course is taught each Tuesday from 6-6:50pm March 7-28th. In this class students will explore the connections between science and art and experiment themselves with a variety of art and scientific tools and materials. Projects will include science-art experiments such as baking soda and vinegar experiments, frozen paintings, slime, and bubble stamping.
Saint Patrick's Day paint night is coming up on Friday March 17th! Make sure you come prepared wearing green and ready to have fun painting! Sometimes our teachers will lead you through an acrylic painting, and other times it's a watercolor painting! Either way, our talented and trained teachers will help you enjoy your time making a masterpiece!
March Day Camps themes will include

Mushrooms (Mar. 18th)
3D Butterflies (Mar. 25th)
Day camps are for all ages (FAMILIES WELCOME!) and run from 10am-12pm on Saturday mornings. All materials are included in the price, and students usually go home with two or three projects. There are two ways to sign up:
1) Sign up for one day camp at a time, or
2) Sign up for for a monthly subscription and save! With Super Savers you get access to any day camp during the month.
Schedule
Regular classes started back up If students miss a day of class, their teacher will help them make up the class they missed! We work in a couple in class make-up days during the semester so students have the chance to catch up.
Monday March 13th there will be no classes. Our Monday classes are 11 weeks long instead of 12 (they always miss one day of the semester, usually due to a holiday). The Monday classes are discounted for that reason.
March 14, 15 & 16 Bring a Friend to class Students are invited to bring a friend with them to class. This is optional and very fun!
Wednesday March 8th at 7pm is our next Elites class parent meeting. If you are interested in information about our Elites art class and exciting field trip to Disneyland and Imagination Studios in April, come to our meeting at the studio and we'll fill you in!
