A New Chapter for US and Art! 🎨❤️
Life has a funny way of surprising you, doesn't it? One minute, you're running an art studio, and the next, you're raising three teens and a surprise baby while figuring out what comes next! 😂
Life has definitely looked a little different than I expected, and it's time for US and Art to grow and change right along with it!
1. A new season of life
If you've been following along, you know that our family welcomed our sweet baby boy, Little Leo! After years of pouring my heart into US and Art, I found myself looking at life a little differently. I love what we've built together, but I also want to be present for my family and enjoy this crazy, wonderful season of life. So, I've been rethinking what US and Art can look like moving forward.
2. Goodbye, brick and mortar!
As sad as it was to close our physical studio, it also opened the door to something new. After seven years of running US and Art, I'm ready to let go of the storefront and focus on what I love most: helping families connect through creativity!
That means no more regular in-person studio classes, but don't worry! Our online art courses aren't going anywhere! You can still create alongside your kids, build artistic skills, practice a growth mindset, and make memories together right from home. And for my local friends, I'll still be offering a few small backyard workshops here and there! ❤️
3. Creativity is about more than art!
One thing I've learned over the years is that creativity isn't just about what you make. It's about learning to try new things, embracing mistakes, building confidence, and discovering that you can do hard things.
And honestly? Those lessons matter just as much outside the art room as they do inside it! That's why I'm excited to share more ideas for bringing creativity into everyday family life. Think fun activities, creative challenges, ways to connect with your kids, and little reminders that we don't have to be perfect to make something wonderful.
4. So, what's next?
I'm so glad you asked! 😉 Along with our online art courses, I'll be sharing more creative ideas, family fun, and ways to make everyday moments a little more meaningful. You'll see more of me and my family, too, as we explore what it looks like to live creatively, learn together, and embrace the beautiful messiness of life.
And, of course, I'll keep you in the loop about new courses, special offerings, and other fun things as they come along!
5. Still US and Art, just a little different!
At the heart of it all, my mission hasn't changed. I still believe everyone deserves a safe space to create, a community that encourages them, and the chance to discover what they're capable of.
The setting might be changing, but the heart behind it is still here. And I'm so excited to see where this next chapter takes us!
